Solar Inverter Replacement, EV Charger Installation and Smoke Alarm Upgrade in Mountain Creek, Sunshine Coast

This project was completed at a two-storey home in Mountain Creek, Sunshine Coast, after the homeowner contacted us about a faulty inverter. The existing inverter had failed, and its location was exposed to harsh sun with very little protection, which can place extra stress on equipment over time.

We completed the faulty inverter assessment, carried out the inverter replacement, and installed a premium inverter cover to help protect the new unit from direct sun exposure. The homeowner also asked for an EV charger installation in the garage, which required a long cable run through the two-storey home. The cable route was planned carefully to keep the front of the property neat while placing the charger in a practical position for daily use.

While on site, we also checked the existing smoke alarms and found they were past their replacement date. These were upgraded to improve safety and help the home move closer to current Queensland smoke alarm requirements. The end result was a more reliable solar setup, convenient EV charging, better equipment protection and improved home safety.
